AIWA Properties was founded with a single purpose — to give overseas Pakistanis a trustworthy, transparent way to invest in real estate back home. Based in Lahore, Rao built the advisory platform he wished had existed for his own family. That purpose did not come from a business plan. It came from personal experience.
Rao Waqas Riaz graduated with a BS in Software Engineering from BZU Multan and built a career in Pakistan's technology sector, founding a software house and leading product and data projects at scale.
With his father and brother living abroad as overseas Pakistanis, Rao watched his own family struggle to invest back home — unreliable agents, unverified projects, and no one who genuinely understood their situation. The gap was not in the market. It was in trust. That realisation became the foundation of AIWA Properties.
Applying his engineering discipline to real estate — verified data, structured processes, zero tolerance for unconfirmed claims — Rao built AIWA Properties to be the advisory platform he wished had existed for his own family.

Rao Waqas Riaz is the Founder and CEO of AIWA Properties, a Lahore-based real estate investment advisory firm. AIWA has built a process specifically for investors who cannot be present in Pakistan. This includes Roshan Digital Account payment support, Power of Attorney documentation, video site visits conducted by AIWA's team, and remote possession handover coordination. The firm serves investors across UAE, UK, USA, Canada, and Australia.
